She trained at the School of American Ballet and attended the Professional Children's School before continuing her studies at New York University Tisch School of the Arts and later George Washington University.

Nicole is best known as one-half of Spalding Rockwell, the genre-defying duo formed with Mary Louise Perlman (Platt). Emerging from New York’s underground music scene, the group developed a signature sound that blended punk attitude, electronic energy, and fearless originality.
Their rise included early industry recognition through management ties with Jennifer Lopez’s management company and performances at iconic venues, including CBGB.
